Debating on not mini tubbing

I've read that moving the rear towards the rear of the car will give room for taller tires. Also looks better. Will probably change the pinion angle.

It will or you can stretch the quarters. Depending on how tall you want to go you may need to do both.

Once upon a time I was concerned with lengthening the wheelbase and fretted about it hurting the cars ability to hookup. Trust me when I tell you it doesn't. The pinion angle isn't changed enough to matter either and you could always use pinion shims to correct it if you were really anal about it.

One of the cars below has stretched quarters and one has the rear moved back 1.5". They both have 28" tires on them.
