Anyone ever try to make A-body sill plates shiny? What did you use?
 
I use a product called WENOL. Comes in a tube. Made in Germany. A little rubbing and they will shine like chrome.
 
Wenol is a great product but won't take the pits out of aluminum if you're looking for show. I ended up buying sill plates from Layson's but did the aluminum pieces that run along the carpet with nice results.
