72 Scamp... you know, looks like a Dart...

Then, all the trim. Many hours at the buffing wheel here. And some sanding as well. There are a few small dents/dings that I couldn't completely get rid of, but I'll live with them.

This one was so scratched under the trunk lock. Some filing, sanding and polishing and voila.

This one was actually squashed flat on the outer end, so I had to hammer it back out to shape best as possible.

The rest were all pretty straight.

Of course, back glass installed as well. First time roping in a glass, pretty simple.

I may be biased.. A SCAMP!! YES! :D ..and you're doing what I failed to get done on my last project (car wasn't straight blah blah.. and other stooopid ****) - silver and black - color me jealous 'cause I am green with envy!! Nice job! Are you by any chance doing it "340" clone style?

No, I'm working in a budget so I've got a 360/727 to go in it, as well as an 8.75 3.23 suregrip. Thanks for the complements, I've had some say the vinyl roof was a bad choice but I'm really happy with it.

Looks awesome. I'm not sure how old you are, but I'll bet the vinyl roof will not do the damage your naysayers expect, in your lifetime, simply due to the fact you will likely be keeping this car in a garage and out of the rain. Car is coming along great. Oh ya, and don't take so long next time!

I'm old enough to like vinyl tops, we'll leave it at that, thanks :D

For Lee (mopar madness)
Trim clips for the thin belt line roof molding along the bottom of the vinyl, hopefully these are what you messaged me about.

The darker ones are originals, the white one is one someone made me on their 3-d printer. Unfortunately, the material was more brittle than the original nylon, so it split in two when I tried to snap it over the mounting pin.

OK, finally got the windshield in. That bottom fenceless design was making me think too hard!! Trying to get sealer in all the right places without making a mess or blocking those drain holes was making me paranoid, but I got it in ( one man job, BTW). Starting to look like a car again.

Also got some more stainless trim polished, which is quite time consuming, as well as the simplest little things that make me smile...

Ever since I was very young, I can remember an uncle showing up at our house with his gigantic New Yorker, and I loved the fender signal indicators ever since. Getting them mounted just made me smile :)

Hunting and rooted for opinions on where to use windshield gasket sealer on the bottom surface of my 67 Valiant. I have the drain holes and bend up tabs on that bottom surface where the gasket mounts. Sounds similar to your car. Did you use sealer anywhere on the fence-less locations on that bottom surface? Thanks.
