SS Springs

The SS springs have a 3" additional arch to increase room (over the tire) for larger diameter (racing) tire/ slick. That is the only reason I can think of for the excessive arch.

the right and left springs have different rates to to compensate for additional torque one side vs the other.....and causes the car to sit uneven. On a race car....nobody cared. I have seen some use the same side/ arch on a car to level it out ...but it stills sits like a Tijuana Taxi.

the blocks are interesting when used on a 4-speed car....seems as though the pinion bangs the floor a lot harder on a side-step....maybe the rear effectively applies additional leverage being not bolted directly on the leaves.....don't really know for sure, but with 1" blocks on my buddies Duster /Espo springs, what a bang!

I do not think the SS springs were ever intended for a street car.....but neither were racing slicks
