Some of the Europeans including Vee dubs used "spare tire pressure" to operate the washer. Must be nice, having a clean wind"screen" and flat spare, LMAO
I drove a 1970 Porsche 914 1.7 liter for ten years that had the wiper washer hooked up to the spare tire. I forget how it worked, but the system kept air in the spare by shutting down the squirt system at a pre-determined air pressure. The Germans were not that stupid.
