I did have a 70 model C/10 long bed about 8 years ago. It had the 270 horse 350, NP 435 and dana 60 with 4.10 gears.
Funny story with that truck. We were comin back home down the main highway out here in the country. There was this oh I reckon about an 89 or so Vette behind me. He kept getting too close. So I just stood in it. I actually started pullin away a little. Anyway, we got to a passin lane and I slacked off and let him by.
Soon as he passed me, I got right back in it again. We got up to about 110 and I backed out. But he could not pull away from me to save his *** and I know it had to piss him off. LOL That big old 3/4 ton had his name in the front bumper. LMAO
