There is nothing magic about 588 cubes. Pro Stock enignes make a lot of power from 500 inches so if someone wants to go really fast just buy an old Pro Stock engine.
They spin them things to da moon though and that means a lot of broken parts / maintenance. My 500 has a 3.85 crank and would rev to 9300+ in a heartbeat if you let it.
