I do that every day not just at Christmas, and pray for those who do not ''get it'' at all at any time of the year as well.
At my age i have no room for negative people at any time of the year.
I would rather be alone with my wife and have a great peaceful Christmas day than be around people with bad attitudes and conflict who need to ''keep up with appearances'' and spend the day with family..........regardless of the outcome.
We had a wonderful day and dinner, just Christine and I with our critters.
