TNT'ers think they are racers

I like to TnT too. I am racing myself. My ability to tune, launch, and build and modify my car. I went from 13.20's to 12.12, just by working with the car. Most was in the carb, and timing. Not bad for a 64 Sport Fury with full interior, and sway bars front and rear. The people at the drags I hate is that certain group that show up with their 7-8 second cars, flapping their lips about how it's a $10,000 race. They pull into the burnout area, shut the car off. Open the hood. Start checking under there. I guess changing nitrous jets. Something they should have done in the pits. Then they open the passenger door repeatedly, I guess to make sure the bottle is on. The other times just for show. Then you get the whole pro stock burnout, including the opening of the passenger door a couple more times to clear the smoke, and maybe to make sure the bottle is still on. Then FINALLY they pull up to the tree, and start the starting line games. THEN they finally go, with one of these so called race cars almost guaranteed to break. Takes a while to clear the car, and maybe the track. Meanwhile, I'm stuck in the middle of 4 staging lanes for 2 freakin' hours! Of course I lost out on 2 runs that I should have gotten without the circus. If it's so important, don't hold up 40 or 50 people. Rent the damn track. I had this happen in Maryland, and Florida. Rant over.
