Fuel system : poll

Before I upgraded to the big MagnaFuel pump I was running a Carter mechanical pump with 3/8 rubber hose from the fuel cell to the carb and AutoZone clear plastic filter. It ran a best of 6.29@ 108 in the 1/8.
