thanks guys. The support and responses is overwhelming. I am a very religious person and I know this happened for a reason. I didn't even know I had a problem like this with my heart. I believe that the bypass will be a better option for me instead of the stents as the stents sometime clog and cause other problems over time and can lead to heart attacks so I guess God is doing what I have asked him to do. I know he is in control of my life and all but I still don't like the idea of messing with the heart. But the old saying is that if God led me to it, he will lead me through it comes to mind. Maybe this is his way of telling me to slow down. I usually go from sun up to sun down. maybe it is time to listen. Anyway, I appreciate all the prayers from all of you. I will update you all when I see the doctor on the 7th of Jan. Thanks,Bill
 
Yes, Bill my Grandfather had a 5-way bypass surgery a long time ago and I know things are a lot more advanced know. I will continue to pray for the best outcome.

just wanted to update you on my upcoming heart surgery. I went to see the heart surgeon this morning and it doesn't look good. I am scheduled for surgery on 1/18/16 at 8:00 AM. He showed me about 10 blockages throughout the heart. He said that because I am diabetic that the veins are smaller than normal and he may not have a lot to work with. He said he thought he could do a lot of them but wouldn't know a lot until he got in there. Told me that my heart is already weak due to the 2 heart attacks I had earlier that I knew nothing about. It is pumping at 25%. so all I can say is I am in God's hands now. He told me that if I didn't have the surgery that I would probably get worse and die of a heart attack. If I have it, complications could be heart attack, stroke, or internal bleeding and possible infections. So I could use some prayers if you guys don't mind.
 
Yes, you are and will be in my prayers. Not to make light of the seriousness of the surgeon, but I'm going to believe he is one to under-promise then over-perform.
