I have worked on them all and tuned them all at some level...... Hard to beat a Holley DP out the box IMO....
However I am a fan of Carter AFB's also. Find a good Thermoquad builder and they are a great piece too. In fact, the Duster I am getting ready to put back on the road has a TQ on it and will use it until the FI is installed.
At the end of the day it comes down to who is putting the wrenches on it. A stock HP out the box does great and the average person will be extremely happy with it.
