trans cooler lines

yea, I have some cheap benders, never invested in a double flaring tool. always had a close by buddy to do it for me! not now.

Tony, white punkonnitro, offered to send me a set, for whatever I feel like giving! a great guy! thanks Tony. it will go on a 66 slant Belvedere , just got to determine if an A of lines will work on that B body. I would guess lines off 67- A body should work.

in Classic Ind, catalogue there are 64-6 A body slant to 904 trans coolers lines, they show nothin for the slant B body. wonder if they will work. they are hard or impossible to bend if needed.

I ordered some from them for an A body before, one line was bend "backward", I could not fix it for sure. I got NO satisfaction form Classic. LAST time I ordered anything from them!!!!!!!
 
Try this; Go to Summit racing and type in theyear of the car and search down the transmission being used. Transmission cooler lines should pop up.

Finelines is getting out of the old car market. They are concentrating on newer truck lines. They are local to me and I called them last year for lines for my 64 Val and that's what the dude told me. IIRC, he thought they could bend some up for me and I could pick them up.

FWIW, I supplied them with a complete set of brake lines AND fuel lines off my 69 340 'cuda. They used them as patterns for their first A-body stuff. I gave them drum brake MC and disc brake MC lines and the crossover tubes on the Kelsey-Hayes discs. I talked to them at the Mopar Nats back then when it was two guys sitting behind a card table with no parts with them.
 
years back there were four of these line bending co. bought lines thru them monthly. still four companies..... one sells direct thru summit, one thru feebay. the others,????.

for all I could determine, the 63-6 A body slant to 904 cooler line thru Classic is all I see; I got tired of calling these clowns direct looking for the line for the slant Belvedere. they give a s---. ha!





they handle everything now but lines!!!!!!
