Both the inside and outside weatherstrips from Dixie (Cat Whiskers) are fuzzy and make full contact all the way across. The first photos show the Cat Whisker strips and the last one shows a quarterglass strip that is all rubber on the outside and is incorrect.
Correct - the main purpose is to limit water ingress into the door/quarterpanel.
It took me a while to get the window glass adjusted correctly to get a good consistent seal on the outside and inside.
