Nor'easter coming...are you ready?

LOL - nice - so now what....?

Just sittin here now... Might go to church in the morning then go to buffalo wild wings to watch Denver beat the patriots :poke: :D

What I SHOULD'VE been doing the last 2 days is pulling the AX15 out of the dakota parts truck I bought so I can get it in my Duster soon!!

North Carolina got mostly ice. Everything is covered in a thick covering of ice. We lost power and it's not expected to be back on till 11:00PM Monday. Thanks to a very kind caring member of FABO, we are in a motel tonight. With everything in the house electric, there's no heat, cooking, hot water. House was 60 degrees when we left earlier. I couldn't let Dee and the girls stay in that house. Too damned cold.

glad to here you guys are O K. losing power is bad. snow melts and goes away, but nO heat, that is seriously dangerous.

hopefully the ice storm wasn't as bad as they predicted!

thankful for wood heat! when we lose power out here due to ice storm, days without power is measured in terms of days and sometimes weeks! Ha .. but not funny!!!!

Kudos to the FABO member, we are just a big family here. Seen so many acts of kindness here cannot even begin to list them.

That is an awesome gesture. Hope you guys get power back soon.
Entire state of Virginia got pounded by storm. Snow, sleet, ice, rain with 60 mph wind gusts back to ice, sleet then more snow in Suffolk.Power has held so far but still windy & now we are getting tidal flooding as a bonus. Arg.

We had over a foot of snow in our yard here in the mountains of NC. I work for the power company, and spent most of my weekend away from home. I stayed at the WNC Ag Center, where we had HUNDREDS of linemen and tree trimmers that came in from Indiana, Ohio, and N. Kentucky to help out. Fortunately for our area, the expected power outages never materialized. Yesterday morning, we sent all of the mid west folks that came to help us in our area, to the part of the state where DusterManiac lives. Today is supposed to be a pretty nice day, so they should get a bunch of work done today. They already had a great number of extra help from FL. in his area, and the folks we released should make a big impact today.

We got over 2 feet here. The snow banks are chest high. My driveway is such that the drifts were like 4 feet high, took hours to dig out even with my new snowblower.

Nice day though, heading out for some sledding soon. Back to work tomorrow!

Spent 10+ hours in the tractor today digging out from the 30+ inches of snow here in York Pa. I told the wife its time to update the tractor to something a little more modern. Dont think she agrees but Im going ot be on the lookout for a JD compact 4WD with cab and blower for next year. My JD 420 is just plain worn out. It beats me to death. It still runs good (honda replant power) and does a great job of moving snow, but Im sure newer would be easier on my body!
By the way after being out all day cleaning snow which included my wifes parents I find her in my mans cave, on my chair watching some dumb flick and I had to go watch the end of the football game on the bed room TV. Whats up with that!

Here in coatesville we got about 28". Heres my cuda in front of the snowball of my g/f car.
going to finish digging out today. taught her how to use my snow blower too, she can only go in a "straight" line.

Awesome gesture I've been wondering about you and the family.

We got about 24" (give or take an inch) in Fredericksburg, VA (halfway between DC and Richmond). Friends about an hour northwest of us got over 30".

Got my PA house cleared. Went to my other place in NJ and found my Demon like this yesterday afternoon. I am sore as hell today after all the snow removal.

One good thing, I got to try a cold start with the EFI and it cracked right over and went through the warm up without a problem. It never did that with the carb.
