need headers

I've been using the Summit headers on my '68 for 3 years now, and still going strong. The rest of my exhaust is also from Summit. I run Hooker Aero Chambers and foot log oval-megaphone tips on it too. The cost of the entire system was less than a set of TTI's or Doug's headers. It works great, no leaks and sounds awesome too. I have a set of QTP electric cutouts I still need to install too. Even when I add in the cost of those parts, it just barely exceeds 1 set of TTI's.

I always use Remflex gaskets, so no leaks and no re-torqueing necessary. They look, sound and fit great. I did have to dimple them in a few spots to make room for the pitman arm and my aftermarket oil pan. I striped and painted them black with BBQ paint from a spray can. They are a good value, but they do hang down a bit under the car.

We don't have issues with rust out here though, and even my '68 convertible has no rust.

Hard to justify the cost of TTI's when a complete system like this can do a such a great job.
