well, I'm done. The whole shebang...

I'd like to see the lower lift flow numbers if you don't mind. There close to fully ported W2's.
What your guy is telling you is the velocity, or speed of the air flow in his opinion could be better. Or quicker. The head porter could pick up the numbers in all probability but in the same respect, loose on high lift flow. When fully porting a head, (Or intake, or carb...) there is a trade off that happens. Considering your build, I'd worry not...in the least...your gonna rock!

I guess you are right, sir. My guy did pick velocity up a bit by some "hand work", but as you can see flow started to drop off at .650 lift, so he stopped where he was. He seemed fairly happy with it at that point. I'm not too bright when it comes to flow vs velocity, etc. Got to read up some day....

Lower numbers were [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

All that friggin typing and I forgot to mention it's a 4 inch stroke! 414 cubes.

I'm trying the carb set-up that way to try and keep it from running a big rich hit when I stomp it. Might just go back to 76's in all 4 corners with 2, 4.5 powervalves.

Should get on the dyno next week.....I hope. The guy treats me pretty good and only charges 250 bucks for a session. That's me helping him put it on the dyno and hook everything up. Still it's really really cheap. I think.

He did all the machining and we have a pretty good rapport. Don't think everyone pays that price but really don't know. All I know is he is one helluva machinist and really cares about his work. Glad to have him on my side.

Oh, yeah. I'm curious what it's going to make, too. Not even gonna try and guess. I do know that Lunati told me I will be shocked at the torque that cam can deliver. I guess we'll see.

I'll let you all know, good or bad! Thanks guys!
