Anyone have any recommendations on shipping headers? Trying to buy a set from a member on here and we are having issues with ups and fedex wanting to charge upwards of $200 just for shipping.
That is precisely the reason I got out of high temp ceramic coatings. The shipping costs were just too prohibitive.
Check out FedEx "home delivery." I've found they have better rates on large boxes than UPS. The Postal Service charges a premium on any box larger than 12 inches on any side, or over 108 inches in total diameter. Greyhound is an option too ... IF both parties are conveniently located near a bus station. You can also check with Fastenal; I've heard good things about their shipping on the Garage Journal forum though I haven't used them personally.
