going to put this on craigslist this summer and wanted to get some input on what a fair price would be to ask. thought maybe somebody would know or have some chevy buddies that are knowledgable. its a fiberglass hood that a friend of mine had on his 65 Z-16 chevelle in the 70s. its a bolt on hood and appears to be well made. I think its kind of cool. any thoughts? thanks

That's a Ford teardrop scoop. Really surprised to see it on a Chevelle hood to be honest.

With the animosity between Chevy and Ford guys, I'm not sure how much interest you'll get for it. Maybe start at $200?

In my "younger years" you could buy those bubbles. I'd bet a LOT of Chevs "got em" back a few years Worth? No idea. It's a hood with an old aftermarket scoop.

Yeah I've seen a couple old school tri-5 cars with em, no doubt they were popular in the '60s. But it's definitely a Ford design and associated with them.
