For Sale is an Auto Meter 5" Monster tach, Auto Meter Shift Lite and MSD Soft Touch Rev Control. Parts are used but in good condition and good working order. Would like to sell as a package deal for now.

Tach has some scuffs and one small ding on the bezel, other wise it is very nice condition. All the wiring is intact and still plenty long for whatever your installation situation calls for. Nothing is hacked up, spliced, taped, burned or what have you.

Tach comes with mounting ring and pedestal, Shift lite has mount pedestal and obviously a yellow light cover. Rev control is as-is, no chips, sorry.

Parts located in Huntington, NY 11743.

$200 shipped for all three.

PM with questions.

How does the MSD setup work? I have looked on Jegs but doesn't say a whole lot. Do I need to have any other items to make this work (MSD box/Chips)? I have a all stock ignition in my Demon. Would like some sort of a rev limiter since is a four speed. Cheap insurance. Also, reason for selling?

It's pretty easy actually. Here's the wiring instructions, right from MSD.

Red - Connects to a switched 12 volt source.
Black - Connects to ground on the engine.
Green - Connects to the coil negative (-) terminal.

Trigger Pickup Wires;
White - If the distributor is triggered by breaker points or an amplifier, this wire needs to be spliced to its trigger wire.
Violet - If the distributor uses a magnetic pickup, this wire needs to be spliced into the positive mag pickup wire.

You would need a chip based on whatever you want the rev limit to be, say like 7,000 rpm. If you are definite and know which one you need, I will see if I have an extra for you.

Reason I am selling is because I don't need it anymore. I switched to an MSD 6 AL which has a built in rev limiter. I'm basically throwing it in with the tach and shift lite.
