I just bought a 73 Duster. The wipers did not work... well. I got it in the shop today and looked under the dash. Of all of the A body cars I own, I have never had to do the wiper bushings. I was reading a couple of links on here about it. I can't find the thread that had the exploded diagram on it. I found this just lying up on the defrost hose. I want to know if the bushings both go in the same way or if one goes one way and the other the opposite. What a head rush getting up out of the dash! Uggh. I picked up 4 Dorman bushings today. Thanks, Keith

EDIT- It is the passenger side pivot that this came from. Again, I didn't remove it, it was hanging there disconnected at both ends.

Autozone carries the multi use bushing kit in the help section and you will have spares that fit other cars. When you put it up with the v facing the firewall you will see which way it fits. I'm pretty sure it only goes 1 way.

I found the page but I did not find the diagram of the linkage. I have recently seen it here and can't find it again.

Look for the 73 PARTS BOOK it will have an exploded view, wipers will be in section 23

Here is a pic of a 69 dart it's similar but the bushings would be different

I just can't tell which end the bend goes towards. The end that's bent the last 6". It's not quite straight. Can't tell from that pic.

Got it. The passenger drive rod from the drivers side flipped off during testing. Got back on it with some channel locks and it seemed to stay on. Thanks guys.
