318 f.a.s.t class , oem stock appearing

In my opinion it would take a lot of tricks to get into the 12's with a 2bl. To do it with 318 exhaust manifolds, it would need to be on point with no stone unturned. It would not be very streetable, and it would need to be a very light car.
A very good friend of mine runs a 68 Dart GTS in F.A.S.T., 416 stroker, 12.5:1, solid cam, ported x heads, intake, exhaust, car weighs around 3150lbs. He runs bottom 12's on a good day, mid-12's most of the time.
390cu in, ported-j's, any kind of streetable compression, 2bl and 318 manifolds.... Better open your wallet...
