Do you care about originiality?
If not, get a Denso style alternator from a Late 80's early 90's Toyota PU. Will have more output at idle than the stock OEM alternator and about 70 amps total. Do a wire around and call it good!
Distributor, a mopar electronic would work OK. I'd rework the advance to get better idle and low rpm performance. They are pretty reliable pieces.
