i like the nitrous idea , i dont know how to hidden that stuff and never drove a engine with nitrous , why can it be so hard to run with the 2bbl intake and carb even if its modified ? i didnt tought it was that difficult , i have two ideas , 1- to stroke it to 390 cu .in or or to buy aluminium heads and to port them to the max , still using 2bbl intake and iron manifolds ( dont forget that i want the intake to be massively ported and the car modified to maybe 500 cfm or more )

It really depends on what intake you want to run, and what you can get it to flow. I never flowed one, but I imagine even a very well worked factory 2bl manifold isn't going to flow very well. So say you get it to flow 200cfm, it doesn't really matter whats after it (cylinder heads) as long as they flow at least 200cfm. If you find a manifold that works very well, then yes an upgrade of cylinder head will help. The same can be said for the exhaust manifolds, if your exhaust ports can flow 200cfm, but the manifolds will only flow 150cfm...
