4 1/2 years Army. Guess I'm the newbie here. Sergeant currently still serving with a maintenance company.
My cousin had 4yrs active then joined the guard.
My late uncle was an infantry lieutenant in vietnam.
Grandfather was Army in WW2.
Uncle Airforce in WW2 and I think possibly flew in the korean war.
Other grandfather was also Army, and I only recently found out after his death a few years ago that he was in the battle of the bulge.

Thanks, Doc Brown. If it weren't for our Corpsman back in '67 I wouldn't be here today. And neither would my sons and grandkids.

I'm in my last few weeks of a one year deployment to Afghanistan with the Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW) program, which is a DoD civil service program. Been a DoD civilian for 27 years, with 14 years in the USAF Reserves. I've seen a lot of interesting stuff over the years!

He a very good Commander, He took care of his people.

My father was a US ARMY Sgt E-5 in Germany in 53-54

My bother is a retired US Air Force Lt.Colonel B-52 Navigator

6 of my 7 uncles served also during Korea and Vietnam

Have 1 nephew in the Army at Ft. Hood now, he was wounded in Afghanistan while in the Marines

1 niece is Air force Reserve

Still work for the Navy as a DOD GS employee doing pretty much the same thing only better pay.

US Navy 1992 to 2013 46 countries 6 years stationed to Japan, 4 navy Brats one navy wife of 20 years one A body and one B body.
