Hi all,

Recently purchased the hydraulic slave set up from brewers. I've seen discussions about hydraulic clutches on here, but don't recall anything for placement. Does anyone have dimensions for the cylinder placement on the firewall, so everything lines up correctly.
thanks for any help. Jon :burnout:

I made the swap on my '71 Duster. I'd suggest that you install the master cylinder push rod on the clutch pedal first. On the clutch pedal, there is a tab that connects to the push rod that goes thru the floor. You drill out the four spot welds, remove the bracket and install the master cylinder push rod there. I will post pics of mine when I get home to be clear.

Here's a pic. On this pic the factory clutch pedal push rod tab is still connected. I have since cut it off. You can see where I welded a spacer on to it. What you cannot see is how I connected an adjustable heim joint to adjust pedal travel.

McLeod website has info on proper mounting. Optimum placement is a 6:1 pedal ratio according to their site. I definitely do not have a 6:1 ratio but mine works fine.
