I assume you meant painting the webbing material. If the purchase of new webbing is not possible, You could try SEM Color Coat paint. It is specifically designed for plastic and other interior materials. However, is buying the webbing and sewing up your own a possibility. I bought webbing, took the old ones apart carefully for patterns, and sewed up my own on the wife's sewing machine. I used the same type of thread, so I know they are PLENTY strong. I did the whole thing in one day.

This post scares the hell out of me…….is your wife’s sewing machine a full industrial machine and did you use proper seat belt thread? If not then a domestic machine couldn’t use thread heavy enough for a seat belt. Belts aren’t sewn up with just any thread, it’s made for that purpose…..I’d be surprised if it’s not illegal for an unqualified person the work on belts anywhere in the States……it’s up to you, I’m not telling you want to do, but being in the motor trimming trade I’d say these belts are putting your life on the line, and everybody else that rides with you…junk them and buy new!!
