Help me understand this bolt pattern!

-
they are unilug wheels, oval holes. Better off with bolt pattern specific.

I once had a set of wheels that were off by a few millimeters on the lug holes. So I filed them to make them fit. They worked great, then I sold the truck a while later and the guy who bought it snapped all of the studs on the passenger side and blamed me for ovaling out the holes. I never did believe that. But if it were true why would they sell wheels with oval holes? I think you just answered a many years old question. Haha

I clicked on the link and it brought up 15x7 rims with 4.5 bolt pattern. I don't know what your looking at.

I had a set of unilug slots on a car I bought, never would stay torqued. Got rid of them jokers

Thank you!

After a little research I figured out the direct drill wheels are cragars stupid way of saying normal wheel.

Unilugs are Ok
For slantys and low-powered 8s or guys that don't push to hard, and have automatics. My experience with 360s and 340s with 4-speeds, is those pesky things
" never would stay torqued. Got rid of them jokers/GeorgeH"

Yeah, they are unilug junk and they expect you to use those special washers to take up the extra space.....I will never buy a pair of unilug rims.....If the company is so cheap that they want to make one wheel for 3 different kinds of vehicles they can KMA....They are too cheap for me...Buy a wheel with a direct bolt pattern and you will have no trouble...

Biggest problem with all Cragar S/S wheels is the lousy soft washers they give you with their shank lug nuts. The washers are not properly plated so they rust. More importantly, they are very soft, and deform when you torque the lug nuts. Then the nuts loosen up when you drive the car. I believe McGard makes shank lug nuts for Cragars that have hardened washers, which solve that part of the problem.
