Power Steering Pump Fitment Issue

I believe you need this pressure hose.

I think the hose you have is for 73-up K-Frames that clear the spool mounts but hit the biscuit mounts of the 72-down when using the 73-up brackets. The 69-down have brackets that raises the pump because the water out let for the water pump is just below it on 69-down cars. Your set up also looks to have a passenger side 70-up water pump AKA aluminum water pump.

Or you can find 70-72 Saginaw brackets to move it up.

The Bouchillon hose is shorter where it connects to the pump to clear the K-frame.

I think I already have that hose. The hose that's on there now only sticks out about an inch from the back of the pump. I don't think you can really make it any shorter.

You mention that the 70-72 Saginaw brackets move the pump up vertically? Would you happen to know how much. If the pump were to move vertically about 1/2". It would clear the engine mount.
