Was almost going to put this in the "jokes/funny" section, but I can relate.... LOL

Here's Jake adding a quart to his 190k mile 2002 Ram... I'd have to do it this way, too.

One of the few things I've complained about regarding my Dodge/Ram trucks is the fact that the grill opens with the hood. I'm not a short person (and not exceptionally tall, either) at 6'2", but I can tell you that more often than not I have hit the back of my head on the bottom of the grill while nosing around under the hood.

Being tall also has it's draw backs. lol

We used to have fits at the factory with the Ram grille fit. Too far forward or rearward tilt and it won't sit properly with the seals on the headlights... :banghead:

Luckily my partner covered the Ram and I did the Dakota... I dodged a bullet there... #-o

I can make fun of short people because they look up to me... :D

I used to date a short girl, I was nuts over her... :glasses7:

If you are a dwarf and offended by short jokes, grow up... #-o

Here's a two word joke: Dwarf Shortage... :color:

Hey Karl .... < kick> :-D

I had to buy a step stool for the sole purpose of doing a tune up on a big F350 I bought to haul my Cuda when I moved. The POS Ford is long gone but I still have the stool 13 years later ... well, because I'm short. Lol

Now y'all know why i like the big pole dancin shoes -- they help me reach the cookie jar. :-D

I'm only average height (5' 11"), but still use a step stool to reach in the engine compartment when I have the car on jack stands...

Step stools are not for short people any more...

Speaking of step stools;

If I had a step sister, and she went to the bathroom, would that make it my step stool??? :pottytra:

Jake - 2 1/2 Men...

Lets get politically correct here folks. It's no longer called "short", it's now "vertically challenged".

Ok, then I accidentally bumped into a "vertically challenged" guy the other day and apologized.. :eek:ops:

He replied, "I'm not Happy..." :angry7:

So I asked him which other dwarf he was.... :???:

A quart? He's holding a gallon jug!

If it's anything like my Corolla you keep a gallon with you so you can add a quart or 2 every few weeks. Lol. Actually just drained what was left of mine today, time to refill the jug with used semi oil.

151,000 , never had to add any oil on mine. krazycuda gets the first laugh of the day !!

5'5" maybe a little less, aside from being looked down upon at times, it's great to be comfortable in smaller spaces such as an airplane seat. Can always climb up on something like Jake is doing there with his truck, or if a taller person is nearby, ask him to reach something. Finding clothes the right length is less of a challenge than it once was, with the internet.

easy to miss - it looks bigger on a small guy.. - sadly the opposite is also true.. :D
Was waiting for someone to see that...lol

I buy my rotella t in gallon jugs. He started using it in his 5.9 gas motor and it runs a lot quieter and smoother.

Yep that's me all right. Being 5`5" can really suck some times. Being very tall sucks more though.

My mom's boyfriend was 6`9". He had a heck of a time. Never had a pair of pants that fit. Went with him to the big and tall store one time. Nope sorry sir we don't have your size.

After his death I was handed down the Dart. Could not figure out why I could not reach the pedals. It's a grandma car right? What the heck. So after driving around for a while with a cutting board behind my back I finally looked under the seat. Sure enough he had placed blocks under the front of the bench seat to kick it back and give him more leg room. Took them out and all was well. Lot more fun banging gears when you can reach the clutch.

I have the exact opposite problem. I'm 6'4", and I'm always hitting my head on stuff. I thought I would be good when I was in the Navy, I was stationed on an aircraft carrier, but you'd be surprised at how little room there is on those. I still hit my head on everything! I finally got used to the exact angle I had to tilt my head to get through hatches and the passageways, and then we put into drydock. Now, I had to wear a damn hard hat that increased my height by about four inches, or so, so I started hitting my head again! :banghead:

When I have to work under the hood of my Cheby 2500HD 4x4 I put a jack under the lower control arms and take the tires off. Still have to stand on the bumper for some things. Dread the day I finally get up off my lazy arse and do the injectors..
