The electric furnace I had in my shop died. Been:???: looking at the New Air G73 and G56 shop/garage heaters. Anybody use one of these or know anything about them. Looking to replace this week. Sq. Ft. is about 350 . Please advise and thanks.

I did the Farenheat UH724ST a couple/three years ago and I'm happy with it. The fan is quiet and there are no glowing coils that I dislike for garage heat. Appears this 7500 watt model is discontinued but they do have a 5000. Looks rated a little better on Amazon than the New Air G73 but a bit more pricey.
Either I think would be fine for your space in you neck of the woods.

I have the same one mounts on ceiling or wall. My shop is 35x16x 12 and works great

i'm in process of making addition to my car "shed" enclosed 26 x 36 ft. will be insulated 2 x 4 walls, tin roof. missouri is NOT that awful cold on average. would something like this work and be economical? or should I just do the wood stove deal????? Barrel stove will end up costing a good $100 stove kit, barrels, and flu.?????

Dave is that mounted to the ceiling or wall. That looks nice exactly what I need.

Normally mounts with one lag bolt to allow it to swivel. Actually, I have mine on a heavy hook that screws into the ceiling rafter center. I made it "corded" so I can relocate it to another hook if I need to.

Might be a stretch for a 5000 unit. They seem to be targeted for an average 2 car garage size. Your insulation, especially ceiling, will definitely help no mater what you use. If you have no ceiling you'll be heating that area for a long time.

IMO, I'd think twice before using and certainly check my insurance coverage concerning wood stoves in garage or shed.

I use this in my 24x32 pole barn-Modine Hot Dawg Heater 75,000 BTU cost About $750 - works great and I run mine off propane
