IMO, a lot of rust issues will start because of gobs of factory body shutz landed between the quarter and inner panel.
On my own Dart and a cut out replacement piece from a dry AZ parts car showed a few gobs of hardened factory gunk wedged behind the quarters.
I was able to hack away a large amount of the stuff so it won't be able to hold any moisture.
