Just seeing what you all think of modern looking side mirrors for classics. Still going to install them cause I think they are cool and work better, but here is what I'm putting on my 67 dart.
What do you all think?

I was thinking about running mirrors from the new challengers but the angle that they mount to the door is different so I'll probably just use the factory sport mirrors.

It's all good. These have two ball joints for adjusting to any angle at the base and on the mirror. Well the nice thing is can always paint the carbon fiber.

--- Just my 2 cents.

Not really digging the mount/balljoint, looks a little too industrial and unfinished for me.

They are more racing designed, decrease drag, coated for night time glare from headlights, convex to eliminate blind spots, it's all billet cnc aluminum, and 3k carbon fiber. Plus they are 5.5" wide, just looking for a better side mirrors that offer better visibility over the small stock round ones

I think I'd have to see them on the car. Most of the aftermarket mirrors I've seen used on old Mopars look like crap, but they're also usually just really cheap crappy mirrors so they look even more out of place. I think they'd probably be better off painted body color. I don't have a problem with carbon fiber on these cars at all, but if the mirrors are the only thing that's carbon fiber it might look a little weird. If you had other components that were carbon fiber I think it would work better.

As far as visibility goes, I'm pretty sure there's almost nothing you could do that would make the visibility out of the mirrors worse than stock, outside of not running mirrors at all.

I know it's a Chevy but they put them on and looks good, nothing else carbon fiber just black paint, course I'm going to be painting my dart a split plum crazy bottom and satin or gloss black up top, from that edge on the body line up is black and down plum crazy.

They look fine EXCEPT for being carbon. I work with it all day, every day making aircraft. Sure, it's very, very light and strong, but it's not needed for everything under the sun. I plan to go with AAR's fiberglas fenders, sixpack hood, header panel and valance and I'm gonna paint them the color of the car. If I had the option of carbon I wouldn't take it because a muscle car ISN'T a damn ricer of fast and furious street racing stupidity car.

There, I'm done ranting on carbon fiber.

I can paint it to match no big deal just like the look and design, plus it's bigger then factory.
