We all think that buying a car from an older person is always the best idea. We assume they take car of their cars well...haha, not this little old lady! :yawinkle:

Here's a funny commercial that I'd thought you guys would like to see:

the writing on the end say:
Not all old ladies are equally trustworthy...luckily, all Golfs are.

Old ladies can be a PITA. Sometimes even low mileage cars are neglected beyond belief (no oil changes or even run low) and tires run nearly flat. Short trips to the store leave engines sludged.

SOMETIMES they think they own gold, because one of their "church ladies" was in the car and remarked something about it

My Grans only drove Mopars and bitched and moaned when we got her a 70 duster with a 340 because it was a small block and didn't have enough power on the highway

I guess it all depends on the car and transmission. A VR6 in a lightweight Jetta or Corrado with a 5-speed manual is a rocket.

it may also have been due to the fact that my Passat (which is only about 300 pounds heavier then a jetta) was pushing 17 PSI instead of the factory 5 :D

Yeah that helps a bit! I have always wanted a Passat (sedan or wagon) with the W8 engine in a 6-speed manual. They come in AWD so you have great grip and can plow through rain and snow like nothing! :D It just sucks because there were only about 10,000 made I believe which makes them rare to come by and also expensive. :banghead:

This one's more funnier:

My old lady drove a 1971 Dodge Monaco with a 383 Super Commando, and yeah she used all 330 hp. So did I lol
