has anyone seen a 340 69 A-body with radio and heater delete?

I've only seen a 69 340 swinger with radio delete, but nothing else.

68's were all different..and they are being reproduced, but nothing for 69 delete cars.

radios were an option if you ordered a car you paid extra for it.heaters were standard equipment you could delete and save a few bucks

The 68 stuff being re-popped is targeted to the super stock clones.

68 was the only year they made the super stock HEMI dart and cuda and they had heater and radio delete because they were made for one sole purpose.

I have to look. I have a radio delete. But not sure for what year? You've got me curious now.

NOS 69 radio delete plates are still available reasonable, I just bought one. But never had seen a heater delete.

I recently read an article on a 383/440 dart with heater delete, but it was, again, a 68.

Made my own heater delete plate for the firewall but Mancini offers one now

a few pics I've collected....

First pic is the one I made, second is a shot of a factory heater delete fresh air box on the right side which replaces the one built in the heater, third is factory firewall plate that I was given the dimensions of 6-1/2" round and 6" to the flat side, and the fourth is a factory heater delete 69 dart in Hawaii from a FABO member

Also do a search on this subject with the FABO search function you will pick up a lot as this isn't the first time this has come up.

I know a guy that had a '69 Barracuda 340, 4speed, notch back from Cali that was a real heater delete car. It's out in Denver now.

@blue440duster. Is the middle picture with the right dash air vent...an original install, or something after the fact?

oops...never mind, I reread the caption and you already answered it.

68 and 69 were thumb wheel radio equipped, right? So this is probably as close as you'll get, Signet dash treatment from a 68 Valiant.
