how much you love them.

Had a wake up call last night, got home from Monster Jam in Toledo last night, and within 30 minutes of being home, my wife had a heart attack, she is only 54!.

I cannot stress this enough, tell the people you love, that you love them each and every day.

The wife is OK, and in full recovery mode. She's a bit grumpy, so that's a good sign, lol.

On my way to the hospital now, to spend a few hours and then let her get a good nights rest.

A little prayer wouldn't hurt.

Oh, and if you're a smoker, QUIT NOW!. The heart doc said that the blockage she had was directly related to smoking.

So Sorry to hear this Bruce. Prayers from Sue and I for sure. Keep strong.

glad she is on recovery road. smokers!????? they don't want to hear the truth!! I don't smoke but been around a plenty of them!
from experience, I will bet she will quit smoking because of the near death scare, and the pain. unfortunately, she might forget all that and go back to her habit. just DON"T let her!!!!!!

like many folk, I have lost friends and relatives that NEVER made it to 60!! yes, life is short many times. yes tell those you love that you love them, give them a hug, and show them you love them.

Best wishes for a one time event and a quick recovery Bruce.

OMG, stunned by the news Bruce, but encouraged by her attitude!! Prayers for a full recovery!!! Geof

Prayers sent. Glad to hear your wife is OK. And the message here says, Hug the ones you love, because you never know.

Prayers sent Bruce for a speed recovery. Your message is spot on! tmm

I enjoyed meeting her at the red barns last year
it was a real treat to see how she treated the grandson, and how she put up with you

I hope she recovers soon

Glad to hear she's on the mend - prayers for a full recovery (and cessation of smoking, too! :))

I wish you and your wife the very very best. Every once in awhile, "on TV" women's side of the heart issue gets mentioned.

Prayers sent. Hope and pray she has a full recovery.
X2 on the tell people your close to you love em.
Life is so fleeting. A yr ago was having what I thought was a normal day. My wife left to go get lunch and I never saw her alive again as she was struck by an anirism at only 46.

God bless

Thanks for sharing, and my condolences, this is exactly my point. Tell everyone around you how you feel about them, as one never knows.

Thanks all for the well wishes, she is napping at the moment.
