Could this section not be build up using something like "The Right Stuff" even?
I haven't used "the right stuff" but I've heard good reports on it so it might work
I've used that on all my intake mounting jobs, sometimes the bead gets to be a pretty good 1/2" high, never had a leak...and if not, what about cutting out the "blocks" from a new stock replacement seal and mounting them "underneath" the one-piece gasket?
The only problem with that is we're only talking about a 1/8" or so difference so pieces that thin might push out
I know it's a hack at best, but man...nifty one piece gasket and such a silly problem to get de-railed by!!!
