Tailshaft bushing clocking

Using the search function does provide answers. Unfortunately, there is a difference of opinions. There is a wider slot at the top (12 o'clock) position with a ridge in the middle. There is also a slot at the lower right (5 o'clock) position. One person says the oil hole in the bushing should be at 12 o'clock as oil is supposed to enter there and drain back out through the 5 o'clock slot. Another opinion says more oil is naturally thrown/splashed towards the 5 o'clock slot so the bushing should have its opening aligned there. The service manual doesn't even mention it in passing. It's a '71 case if that matters. Hoping someone has a definative answer.

Thanks guys.
