don`t do the long shackle thing. make a good template of your wheel wells, and then use it to stretch and heighten them from stock. you can carefully roll the metal on the front(for a taller tire) to where it`s flat against the inside front of the wheel well, w/o butchering it .
use a jigsaw for best control.
