I like having plenty.... You never know when a random Shelby, z06, or badass Camaro will pull up beside you with evil intent on their minds. Always cool to show 'em the tail lights of an old Mopar.....
I'm not about promoting street racing but your run of the mill Camaro's are coming through at 425 hp so that certainly isn't to much hp.
When you sacrifice reliability and drivability for hp that's when to much occurs in my book. But a lot of that has to do with things like having an OD, cam choice, cooling system, etc.
