For all of you looking to replace your windshield washer hoses and need the "splitter" for the hoses. It is a F-connector that I used to be able to pick up under the Edelmann part number 711322 3/16" x 1/8" x 1/8", but it is now obsolete. If you can find a source for them post it.

In the meantime, I have found that it cross references into a Ford part number for some of the old Ford applications and have found a place that sells them for $2. I just ordered me a batch of them for my cars before they are obsolete with the Ford guys soon. Grab them while you can. It won't hurt to have a few spares laying around for later...

oh my gosh, I was just thinking about this, I need one for our 1974 duster, ill order a batch tonight for all our cars, Thanks for Posting

National Moparts has them. listed on their website.
SKU #WAS0014 tee connector $11.99 repro part.
A little pricey but at least you can get them.

mrgusa.com had them. I don't recall what part number.

I bought mine at Autozone about a month ago. It was a 3/16 x 3/16 x 3/16 vacuum connector Part# 47356, alt part# 494-049-S . It cost me $2.49 and it works fine. I made my own mounting strap from a small piece of aluminum flashing with a hole in each end, wrapped it through the center of the connector and screwed it into the original mounting hole.

The ford part is still available luck for me....probably the best deal out of anything posted here. 2 bucks is nice and cheap for something that shouldn't be worth more than 2 bucks lol.

Perfect timing!

Thanks Rusty, those are the guys I got the dash cover for my Ram from.

I make Y's with 1/8 brass tubing and put them inline right before the first squirter and don't even have to mount them down because barely any of it shows.
Screw those plastic F's. :D

F's without screw tab at Oreillys pn#47356 or Dorman 493-049

$2.49

Thanks! Great info and still in stock. Just ordered 2 of them so that I can replace mine and have a spare.

Funny that this is a current topic -- mine just broke. I had bought the Dorman piece, but it would be nice to have it screwed down properly.

Geez guys, Bust out those bucks and get the correct one. Treat yourself and your car to something nice. Some of you guys will spend a dollar to save a dime!

Anyone know offhand what diameter washer hose the "F" connectors from the original post use? I'm seeing 5/32 and 7/32 as options.

You use the diameter that the barb is designed for, or one slightly smaller if you can get it to fit/push on...

The connector is: 3/16" x 1/8" x 1/8"

Those hoses are just one step smaller than the nipples/barbs are made for, so they will work...
