Before I break something, anyone know the best way to remove door panels on a Demon?

Got a rattle I have to find.

one bolt holds the door handle on, two screws for the arm rest and an allen screw for the window crank then best to use a crows foot (trim tool) or two screw drivers may work and pop the clips from the door.

Use a butter knife instead of screwdrivers it allows you to slide it right to the clips to pop the panel. I start at the rear side and work my way down and around

After you get the panel off look for allen head screws that may have fallen to the bottom. I had a rattle when I went over bumps or closed the door and it was the top screw on the front window channel had fallen out. The access hole was under the Demon (Duster) trim plate on the upper door frame. I was lucky enough to work it off gently and slowly without breaking the mounting tabs.

realize the panels are made of cardboard like stuff so some moisture over the last 50 years can cause that material to not be like it was when new! don't be surprised if you take them off you will do some damage to the backing or even the vinyl/ new ones aren't cheap!!!!!

$6.99 at HF

so i'm guessing the clips are around the perimeter of the panel? How many?

oh. Thanks guys!

Add some Dynamat in the door if you can while you're in there....REALLY helps reduce rattles.
