Guys,

I have purchased the eagle performance 410 stroker kit, and in the process of assembling the engine.

I have come the point to order my crank damper, but have the following questions /suggestions:
- Can I use the ATI damper? and if so what other parts I need to order to make it work?? My engine is a race engine and the crank only need to drive the altenator.
- Any other damper recommendations? like damper kits that include the v grove pulley to drive the altenator?

I like to use a SFI approved pulley, in order to have the peace of mind my harmonics are taking care off...

Thanks

What else should I need to run my altenator? Any recomendations on what pulley to use? and does it bolt to the damper?

I use the ATI Damper on my 414 race engine. I am using a CVF Racing single groove crank pulley which bolts to the ATI Damper. The ATI sticks out around 0.150 to 0.250 more than stock so you need to shim the alernator and water pump so the belts align. I am using an electric pump so I only had to deal with an alternator as well.

I am familiar with ATI and are good products, I was wondering what pulley brand should be able to bolt the damper to drive just the altenator. Good info thanks...

Would you consider this to be a good combination ??

x2 on the Innovators West, if is good for Larry Larson, is good for me! And the cvfracing pulley is a good deal

Guys,

I would like to confirm something... My stoker kit has been balanced from the factory ( EAGLE ). Now today talking to my engine builder mentioned that I need a zero balanced damper... This means an damper for internal balance??? Is this a correct statement?

Yes. The 360 is externally balanced. LOL, the builder I use didn't know that and he hacked up a ATI 360 balancer to make it work. SB chebby guy but local so I use him.
