Where do I begin..

Well, I bought this 1963 GT off a guy locally about 5 days ago. He had a donor car which was a 1975 Dodge Dart. He swapped over the engine (225), auto trans, steering wheel/column, front and rear.

I have all the chrome trim and bumpers which won't be in the photos as they're in the trunk.

The first thing I've done for it, is ordered a universal wiring harness from EZ, to make connecting everything a little easier than sitting with a voltage meter trying to see what's what and to avoid replacing ratty old wire in the trunk. It'll be nice to have break lights and turn signals, without using my left arm. (Plus I just don't have the energy to mate a 75 engine harness to a 63).

Next thing I'm going to tackle is moving the rear back to where it should be and getting a proper length driveshaft fabbed at a shop nearby.

Already have an exhaust appointment lined up since it doesn't have any pipe beyond the downpipe.

Then tires, since it's a barn car, and the 185/65/14's are pretty much toast, I can't believe they're holding air tbh.

The body for the most part is really good, just a little dent in the front passenger fender, no biggy, I'll hammer it out this weekend and block it.

While I'm more of a rat rod guy and less of a restorer (don't beat me), I'm going to paint her flat black. I'm not spending $1100 on a new top, so I'm cutting the raggy top off, greasing up the rods, folding it down and covering it with a white convertible top boot.

I'm thinking black/white interior, there's some decent shops down here in the desert.
