Note that if you go to the late (73-up) model brakes to get the 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern, you'll need a different ball joint socket to put the new set back in.
Exactly where I'm confused now. I did get the upper ball joint adapter with my conversion kit. But I wish I could find just one picture or diagram detailing what that set up looks like. I'm a very visual person when I'm not familiar with the technical stuff �� (I have the 4.5" bolt pattern, btw) (EDIT: <---that's a lie...I'm working with the 5x4 bolt pattern. Doh!)
