Hi Guys - looking at replacing my stock 13" wheels with 14" - any ideas what max size tires/ max wheel width I can put on?

currently getting more info on a set of Cragar El Toro 14" SBP wheels

I went with some 14" rallies 5.5" wide and put a set of BF Goodrich P225/70R14 on them all the way around. They fit with no rubbing barely.

I have 14 x 5.5 wheels running 205/70r tires

Plenty of room in the wells

On my '65 I put on 14x7 Chrome rally style wheels with 4.25 back space. Tires are 195-70 in front and 215-70 in the back. Passenger front wheel barely rubbed on the upper A arm in a couple of spots a couple of whacks with a hammer and a touch with the grinder and all was good.

On my 66 Valiant wagon, it came with 14x6 Cragars with 235/60's. No problems but I do have the larger wagon rear wheel opening.

I've got 14" rallye wheels with 215/70 r14s. Plenty of room.
