Any particular advantage to that? It looks like the way he has it minimizes the plumbing on the intake side. Are you just suggesting he rotate the assembly but otherwise keep it in the same general location? I can kind of see how designing brackets to support the weight of the turbo might be easier the way you are suggesting.
. turbo manifolds are crazy. better not going to say better. it really matters on the design, runner length, and tubing diameter. I have seen longer manifolds spool at a much later rpm then shorter. more intercooler piping will not hurt. I really feel if done right it can look much better. but then again it is all about the design and what he is after. I love the idea of keeping the exhaust under the car. either way it should be sweet
