Glad you got a wagon. Really glad.
I'm thinking that was a one year color. Gonna change it?
 
I will be adding a rack to my wagon. Wondering if there were extra supports or brackets spot welded to the cieling for extra strength to keep the rack from pulling up and bending the roof metal.
Also, how did they originally seal the exterior mounting brackets? I expect a gasket, but any other caulk either from the exterior or interior?

Maybe someone cutting up a wagon would be your best bet or convert them over to a more easily found sedan/hardtop/mordoor.

I just cut and 86'd my (maybe original) exhaust on my '64 Dart wagon, but it did dump in the back on the left side...but I don't think it was behind the wheel and out to the side...I'll see if I can find a pic from before I cut it loose.

Don't think so - front should be torsion bars and back should be leaf springs, unless there was some coilover option I never heard of.

Mine will have coilovers front and rear (from RMS) when I get done with it.
 
Thanks, back of the Savoy looks less cluttered and better sculpted than the Dart/Valiant
wagons, in my opinion.
 
After seeing all of your cool A body wagons... All I want now is to sell my B body Savoy Wagon and find a clean 65 Valiant Wagon to put in a 360 and make a fun street strip beater. Not really nice but quick.. like low 11's.

I like the B bodies but I have always been an early A body guy.

Ah I see, well I really would like to see a picture of the B pillar if you have it even if its painted and smoothed in. I have seen quite a few that were Hard-Tops but never a sedan. I think that would be easier for my first one. At least for the rear window and such. Never thought of doing this in the 30 years I have been collecting the Early A's......

good luck on the 65 valiant wagon! I`ve been watching for one I might could afford for years. took a member on here up on his offer to sell his, he backed out on me.------:wack:

Anybody need wagon parts? I have this left over shell for pieces. Quarters are shot, roof is pretty rough. Has a nice firewall, inner fenders, rockers, truck and floor boards. Doors arent terrible but need rust repair.

I need the stainless piece of trim that goes above the tailgate glass, just below the roof.
