69 barracuda; what's it worth?

So...I paid $2500 for mine, 3 years ago. It is also a 69 Fastback. I had NO rust issues as it was an original and lifelong Arizona car. Factory 318, 904 auto column shift and A/C, numbers matching. As a bonus, it has the 'slickback' vinyl roof treatment. Biggest problem was that it had a '68 header and grilles grafted onto the front so I had to hunt down and pay for all of the '69 front end stuff.

Even though the steel was solid, everything made of not-steel was destroyed by the desert sun. Rubber seals, gaskets, O-rings, the upholstery, the carpet, the headliner, hoses, belts etc etc etc.

To "right" these wrongs, I've put about 7 thousand (that's just a wild guess) into it. I've been working on it for 3 years. If you want the full biography on the build, search "biohazard" in the members' restorations section.

Using that as a reference (and going off your photos) I doubt I would have gone over $1500 for the one you're looking at. It needs a full interior, lots of rust repair, paint doesn't match, nothing original drivetrain-wise and a 'so what?' 318 that's in 'who knows?' what condition. Long term project, no doubt.

...and I'll bet it smells awesome.
