Hey everyone, I am out in Scottsdale this week and stopped by Barrett-Jackson today to check them out. I got a great behind the scenes tour from their sales manager...saw an original Carol Shelby Cobra (#34 of 100) and found out they are making their first trip to the North East. They will be at Mohegan Sun from 6/23-6/25...I will definitely be their and want to spread the word and try to get some good FABO attendance..I will be there on the Saturday..who's in?

I plan on going I'm in Danbury CT. Just wondering availability of tickets and where to pre-purchase? I heard the show is amazing for car lovers.

I got tickets for Friday and Saturday from my wife for Christmas.....Only problem I have is my father in-law also got tickets. I don't think I can take him for 2 days straight.....hahaha. Looking forward to it though.....

Count me in I'll take the ride

Good for you guys. It's certainly a show worth attending. Once you get past all the bells and whistles in addition to the sensational hype you'll see some really nice cars.

Excellent, glad to hear you guys will be going!

I bought my tickets yesterday, for Saturday. I picked up 4...will be taking my wife and a couple of friends...can't wait!

Carl - It looks like ticket master is the only place to get them...price varies by day...if I remember correctly they went from $35 on Thur up to $45 on Sat for general admission

Certainly Nice Cars -- BUT -- Too many Millionaires, driving prices up. -- I would attend, just for the experience, if closer to me.

COOL, i'll try to go.............maybe put a car in the auction???????

just saying. not sure if this is the place for this but here it goes. the gear head mafia car club of connecticut and the vfw will be hosting a car show may 21st to benifit care packages for the troops. anyone wanting more info contact me. 860-977-1797, mike

I'm going Friday and Saturday. I just checked out the more than 700 items for sale......I counted three A bodies....2 383 GTS's and a Dart Sport. For the amount of A bodies built that is a very small number.....Do we love our cars that much that we want to keep them for ourselves....

Thought I'd share some pics from the show

The Gas Monkey guys were there and had a few cars up for sale. Saw Chris Jacobs and Kristy Lee and lots of great cars! Also got my picture taken with Chris, he seemed like a great guy, he was joking around with everyone and taking lots of pictures

Great pictures, thanks for sharing. I probably sat through about 8 hours of it. Seemed like a lot of Mercedes, jaguars, Ferrari's, Lambo's and such. I saw the Satellite go across the block. I'd love to go to one some day!

Edit...I sat through 8 hours of it on TV.

I went up Friday and Saturday. My favorite part was viewing all the cars. I sat far away from the stage on Friday and the auction was not as much fun for me as I would've liked. Saturday I couldn't even get a seat in the arena and left early and went home and watched it on tv. I was surprised at the prices of cars that were upgraded and far from original equipment. I also went to a car cruise and a show over the weekend. Since I know Mopar numbers way more than any manufacturer I see way way more cars that were upgraded into something they were not when built. There's nothing wrong with that but does it make it more rare to have a matching number drivetrain these days. Can't wait for Carlisle...Less than 3 weeks away baby.
